Wood County Society is empowering individuals to solve community challenges by uniting efforts across programs, initiatives, and resources. Our mission focuses on ensuring that people with intellectual and developmental differences are recognized for their abilities and valued in the Mid-Ohio Valley. We prioritize accessibility, abundance, inclusion, and compassion in meeting the therapeutic, educational, and respite care needs of individuals in West Virginia and Ohio counties. We serve Wood, Jackson, Roane, Ritchie, Wirt, Calhoun, Tyler, Mason, Pleasants, Washington, Athens, and Meigs counties.
