About Us
The Madrone School is a non-profit organization dedicated to offering an alternative to traditional public schooling for autistic students in the greater Seattle area. We provide individualized services tailored to each child's academic, social, and emotional needs through evidence-based therapies and personalized education. With a 1:1 student-to-staff ratio, we ensure that every student receives the support they need to reach their maximum potential. Named after the Madrone tree, known for its unique growth patterns dependent on the environment, we create an environment where every student can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our mission is to support our students through multi-disciplinary therapies and specialized academics, fostering independence and helping each child reach their fullest potential. With a team of experienced professionals trained in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we collaborate with families and funding sources to provide a holistic and tailored educational experience. Our approach includes individualized assessments, regular parent-teacher meetings, small class sizes, and a curriculum supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. At the heart of our work is The Grady Clinic, which provides ABA services to all of our students, further ensuring their success.
