The Hope Center for Autism was founded on a shared vision to support children and adults with autism, evolving from a small classroom in Jensen Beach to a comprehensive support center serving individuals across all ages. Established in 2002, we began as an intensive learning space, later expanding into a public charter school and, in 2023, unifying our programs under one name to provide seamless support. At The Hope Center, we focus on fostering essential life, social, and vocational skills through tailored programs like Next Step, a peer-led initiative empowering young adults and teens with autism. Our holistic approach ensures individuals develop communication, academic, and executive functioning skills to navigate both educational and professional environments. Beyond our students, we equip parents with valuable resources and advocate for autism awareness at local and global levels.
