About Us
The Center for LifeSkills is a small, privately-owned clinic designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment that supports healing for both children and their families. Unlike traditional medical offices, our clinic is located in a low-traffic area with direct access to our waiting room from the parking lot, ensuring convenience and a stress-free experience. Our unique approach makes therapy less intimidating for children, including those who may struggle with transitions. Parents often express how comfortable their children feel in our office, even during their first visit, and we take great pride in creating a space where children can feel at ease. At The Center for LifeSkills, we understand the importance of flexibility in scheduling and are committed to providing personalized care. Our therapists handle scheduling directly, ensuring that it works best for each family. We also value open communication and make it a priority to respond to phone calls and emails quickly. We work closely with families to review and discuss Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, actively participating in the development process to ensure that we are aligned with each child’s needs and objectives. Our goal is to make therapy a seamless part of life, supporting both the child’s growth and the family’s well-being.
