North Dakota Autism Center Inc
About Us
The North Dakota Autism Center (NDAC) is a leading organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities in the Fargo/West Fargo/Moorhead area. Established in 2008 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, NDAC provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, advocacy, education, and awareness tailored to the unique needs of the autism community in North Dakota. NDAC was founded by Sandy Smith and her daughter Darcy Kasprowicz after recognizing the lack of resources for individuals with ASD, including their son/brother, Tyler. In response, they created a specialized daycare to support not only Tyler but other local families in need. Since its inception, NDAC has grown through community support, partnerships, and strategic collaborations with local stakeholders, government agencies, and philanthropic organizations. NDAC's mission is to empower individuals with ASD, ensuring they are included, valued, and have a sense of belonging. With core values of compassion, integrity, teamwork, excellence, and support, NDAC remains committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
