About Us
Founded in 1997 by two mothers seeking services for their young sons with autism, Project Hope Foundation has grown alongside the increasing prevalence of autism, now affecting 1 in 36 children. Our mission has evolved to offer a comprehensive range of services for individuals with autism, spanning their lifespan. We provide four core programs: therapy, education, adult services, and community engagement. All of our services are grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). With eight campuses, we serve individuals across all ages—from children as young as two to young adults. Our programs cater to the full spectrum of autism, from those developing basic communication skills to those preparing for college. We offer ABA therapy, speech and occupational therapy, autism-specific classroom models, support in private and public classrooms, adult day services and employment programs, social groups, life skills training, community outreach, family guidance, and professional training. At Project Hope Foundation, we take an individualized approach, ensuring that each person’s unique needs are met. Our services benefit not only those with autism but also their families, who are forever impacted by this diagnosis, as well as the broader community. Our therapy and adult services have been recognized as Programs of Excellence by the United Way of the Piedmont. Additionally, our educational program, accredited by SCISA, received the Education Spirit Award from the Community Foundation of Greenville, Greenville Journal, and Town Magazine. We were also honored with the Angel Award from the South Carolina Secretary of State for our efficient use of funding. As the largest ABA-based autism service provider in South Carolina, Project Hope Foundation offers the most comprehensive and diverse range of services and support for the autism community in the state.
