About Us

The Great Lakes Center for Autism Treatment and Research is a dedicated program under Residential Opportunities, Inc. (ROI), a nonprofit mental health organization serving Kalamazoo and western Michigan. In partnership with the Western Michigan University Department of Psychology, we offer high-quality services for children and families affected by autism and related disabilities. Our mission is to provide evidence-based interventions and research-driven solutions that address the unique needs of individuals with autism. With a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for both individuals and their families, we focus on creating tailored treatment plans, fostering skill development, and supporting families every step of the way. At the Great Lakes Center, we believe in collaborative efforts and integrated care, drawing on our extensive expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
